Science IndicatorsSM from Thomson Reuters data were
updated to cover a 10-year plus 8-month period, from January 1998 to August
31, 2008. With this update, the data pool expanded to include an additional
2,082 scientists, 311 institutions, 15 countries, and 83 journals that are
either entirely new to Essential Science Indicators, or new to one
of the database’s 22 fields. ScienceWatch.com presents a
listing of those New Entrants who showed the greatest total citations upon
