at least one author address in Germany. Of those papers, the highest
percentage appeared in journals classified under the heading of space
science, followed by physics and molecular biology & genetics. In space
science, Germany's impact score of 10.47 cites per paper surpassed the
world average of 7.14 cites by 47%. The nation also performed strongly in
physics (45% above the world mark), plant & animal science (%45 above),
and geosciences (+41%).
