October 2009
As of September 1, 2009, the
Essential Science IndicatorsSM from
Thomson Reuters data
were updated to cover a 10-year plus 6-month period, from January 1999
to June 30, 2009. With this update, the data pool expanded to include an
additional 1,979 scientists, 226 institutions, 18 countries, and 73
journals that are either entirely new to Essential Science
Indicators, or new to one of the database’s 22 fields.
ScienceWatch.com presents a listing of those New Entrants who
showed the greatest total citations.
