Essential Science IndicatorsSM from
Thomson Reuters data
were updated to cover an 11-year period, from January 1999 to December
31, 2009. With this update, the data pool expanded to include an
additional 1,529 scientists, 179 institutions, 15 countries, and 35
journals that are either entirely new to Essential Science
Indicators, or new to one of the database’s 22 fields.
